Something i've wanted to draw for awhile but never got around to doing.

So here's James Raynor from Starcraft, as the King of Blades.

No bone wings for him, went with spiky tail instead.

Warning: Tons of text. Intriguing idea, but what if Zeratul was in his place?
Perhaps manipulate the tail to work like the Collector (Mass Effect) head and/or some fan-concept art of the Primordial (Precursor)'s head.
(Collector head without eyes, add visor in place of eyes, creates biological helmet, the back of which can morph into a thicker, cape-like, tail, which could spread out like a Broodlord as wings to allow a sort of glide to help with run-jump actions).
What to use as reference. The basic shape, when closed, would look like a kite from the back (the thickest bit being the helmet start, where it links into the body). When open, it would look like the previous, but with two \ / diagonally flipped right-angle triangles, which will act as a glider.

And he should probably have his armour over most of his carapace (not including head or back, so it's a modified armor for his 'altered form').
In combat, he could probably wield a set of assault rifles and probably have a psi-blade embedded into his right gauntlet (courtesy of Zeratul, since he is the guy preparing them both for the Fallen One's return). He might also be able to cloak, via a cloaking module embedded into the same gauntlet.
