Last Avengers: Avenge a Universe!

All that the remains of one universes many many avengers.

What led to them being the last? The destruction of their universe!

An entity of unknown origin came into their reality through a tear in the universe.

The creature fed on the life-energy of the entire universe.

What it did first was kill Galactus, most likely due to him posing some kind of threat to it.

Then it came to earth, and attacked the fantastic four. It's actual  target: Franklin richards.
His reality altering powers probably posed a big threat.
Only one member of the FF survived, Reed Richards.

The creature then began to slowly pull in the life energy of the universe, gruadually intensifying.
Many tried to mount an offense at the creature, but it appeared to suddenly and worked too fast.

Once it was done, a broken, dead universe was what remained.
As the creature opened up another tear to travel to another reality, he did not notice the small little
lifeforms that went through it aswell.

Small fragments of life still lingered in the universe. These warriors are some of the few that remain.

This is their story.

SCARLET SPIDER.

(In this reality, the timelines and events for Eddie brock, peter parker and the symbiotes are very different.)

Peter Parker.

A man imprisoned for killing the man who murdered his uncle...

He regretted taking his life, when he thought about the lessons his uncle had tought him,
and wished to atone,to redeem himself.

He got his wish when the Venom symbiote destroyed his cell and broke out his cellmate, Eddie Brock.

It left behind a red symbiote that bonded with him.

He took the oppertunity and escaped, and started using his newfound powers to save people.

Spider-man had not become known in this reality, having only a brief wrestling career before dissapearing.

Wearing this symbiote, he renamed himself "Scarlet Spider".

It wasn't long however, before his identity was revealed, and what he had done.

He surrendered himself willingly and soon became a member of the Thunderbolts program.

While he did very well in the thunderbolts and many believed he would soon be free and able to work with
the Avengers, the program was corrupt.

Those currently in charge wanted him and his symbiote "weaponized".

Four metallic tentacles where atatched to his spine, along with a controlling mechanism implanted in his brain.

After the symbiote destroyed the controlling mechanism in his brain, he broke out, defeated the corrupt
members of his team, and exposed the secrets of the program.

Afterwards, he became the first thunderbolt member to directly join the Avengers.

When the event that destroyed their universe happened, Captain america gave his shield to Spidey as he was dying, asking
him to never stop standing for what is right.

BLACK CAT.

Felicia Hardy.

In this reality, black cat became known long before spider-man was around.

She was both a hero and a criminal, having saved many people but also constantly stealing things.

Once she was arrested she became a prime candidate for the Thunderbolts program.

However the leaders of the program intended to use her for a project of theirs:WEAPON X-redux!

After having The original weapon x captive for some time, they had managed to isolate and clone his x-gene,
enabling them to give his regenerative powers and claws to another human!
However the process proved too much for regular humans, overwhelming their systems.
It required an exceptional human, someone who had already been altered but not strayed to far from the natural human genome.
Black cat aka Felicia hardy was such a human, already possesing increased strength,speed and cat-like reflexes.

Once she had gained the x-gene, they went on to cover her skeleton with adamantium.

Like Scarlet spider she gained a cybernetic atachment(can easily be detached), a tail with adamantium plating.

Once Scarlet spiders symbiote had freed him, he used it to remove the controlling mechanism from black cat aswell.

She continued on her own for a year before joining the avengers.

VICTORIA VON DOOM!

Not officialy a member of the avengers. She is the Sorceress Supreme in this reality.

Having once been an enemy of the avengers, she fought them on many occasions.

Once she became the sorcerer supreme, she no longer pursued that which made her their enemy, claiming it was now "beneath her".

she has since then assisted them against several supernatural threats.

when the event that led to them being the last avengers occured, she rushed to warn them.
but too late, there was no time to prepare.

The realm from which the eye draws its power is still intact, enabling Victoria to fully use its power.

However in the reality they now inhabit, the eye already exists. Two eyes of agamotto drawing power from the same source,
a paradox is about to occurr.

REED RICHARDS.

The one of the members who is almost identical to his original 616-counterpart.

Currently Reed richards is the most dangerous of the members. While they all have lost those they care about,
he had to watch his family wither and die as the life energy was sucked out of them.

He holds the least regard for the safety of other realities, driven purely by grief and thoughts of revenge.

Fourtunately this will change soon enough, once he sees himself and his family alive and well in the 616-universe,
once again regaining his heroic perspective.

CABLE.

Time-displaced man. Future son of Scott summers and Jean Grey.

Unlike his 616-counterpart, this Cable has been infected with the original Transmode virus(techno-organic virus).

Apocalypse had modified it, and intended to have cable infect all those who disobeyed them, enabling them fully
controllable.

Cable however refused, he escaped and recieved help in controlling the virus.

He later on went back in time in hopes of improving their hellish future.

after a skirmish split the x-men into two factions, Cable left.
Dissapointed in the x-men and refusing to take sides against his allies, he and a few other mutants left.

Cable eventually joined the Avengers, after having helped them on several occasions.

Now their universe has been destroyed, yet cable still lives...

If their universe is dead, the future from which he came is also gone, yet he still exists.

Could this mean that there is still a chance for his universe to be restored? Or was it simply luck? The
laws of their reality having seized to be.

Now the team has entered the 616-universe!
First priority: Warn Galactus and franklin richards!
The creature clearly considered them a threat. Next, prepare everyone and find away to destroy it.

Unbeknownst to our heroes, another team has followed them through. One with
a far more...sinister purpose.
